How to Get to Raja Ampat

The sole entry point is Sorong (SOQ), West Papua. Daily domestic flights from Jakarta (CGK) and Makassar (UPG). Garuda Indonesia and Batik Air recommended. Our team handles transfer and permit logistics.

International to Indonesia

Fly into Jakarta (CGK) or Bali (DPS) — both have direct international connections from major global hubs. Most international flights arrive late evening; plan an overnight stay before connecting domestic.

Domestic to Sorong (SOQ)

Daily flights from Jakarta (CGK) and Makassar (UPG) on Garuda Indonesia or Batik Air. Most are overnight redeyes arriving Sorong early morning. ~3 hours from Jakarta. Book separate tickets — domestic baggage allowance differs.

Permit & Transfer

On arrival at SOQ, our ground staff meets you. We pre-arrange the Marine Park Permit (IDR 1,000,000) and handle harbor transfer directly to your phinisi vessel. Luggage and gear handled for you.

Embarkation

Welcome briefing on board. Cabin orientation. Safety drill. Departure typically by midday — first dive same afternoon at a sheltered Dampier check-out site.
